Applicants who wish to forge a career in restaurant management, learning to master the fundamentals of hospitality as well as strategic management principles.
Successful graduates gain a Bachelor of Business (International Restaurant Management) along with 12 months of work experience.
Satisfactory completion of Australia Year 12 or an equivalent interstate/overseas secondary education with an ATAR of 60 or higher. Applicants over 21 may be considered as mature-age students with relevant work experience.
Assessment methods vary and include a combination of examinations, tests, essays, reflective journals, reports, projects, written assignments, oral presentations, and classroom discussions and activities.
Graduates are prepared for management-level careers across the global hospitality sector, including Restaurant Manager, Catering Manager, Event Manager, Food and Beverage Manager, Cafe or Restaurant Owner, General Manager and Resort Manager, and — with a strong foundation in wine expertise — Sommelier.
You can apply for Academic Credit, which recognises prior study, skills and knowledge. Graduates from recognised institutions providing evidence of their previous studies and industry experience can apply.
Eligible Australian citizens can access FEE-HELP for all or part of their tuition fees, subject to confirmation by the Australian government.
