Focuses on the four major management functions (planning, organising, leading and controlling) across an organisation, introducing students to various management models and frameworks, and assisting students in determining the effectiveness of management models and how these relate to the overall effectiveness of the organisation.
Marketing Principles
Introduces the basic principles and practices of marketing in an Australian context, covering marketing theories, planning and strategy, market research, consumer behaviour, segmentation, targeting and positioning, and the expanded marketing mix.
Accounting Principles
Provides an introduction to accounting concepts and principles, covering the accounting cycle, double-entry accounting, recording business transactions, and financial report preparation using Xero accounting software.
Finance Fundamentals
Focuses on the foundations of financial management, including the role of finance, Australian financial system and markets, basic financial mathematical calculations, concept of risk and return, and financial instruments.
Business Statistics

Common Questions
The Bachelor of Business (Management) is a three-year full-time degree offered on campus in Melbourne, with intake dates in March, May, August, and October.
Entry requires completion of Year 12 or equivalent with a minimum ATAR of 50, or an equivalent qualification. Applicants with VET study must have successfully completed a Certificate IV, or partially or fully completed an Advanced Diploma or Diploma. English language proficiency of IELTS (Academic) 6.0 or equivalent is also required.
Yes, students may be able to shorten the length of this course through qualifications obtained from other formal studies. AQF qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by other registered training organisations and education providers may be recognised by BPP Institute through its advanced standing process.
Upon graduation, students are equipped to work in a management role within a business or organisation. Graduates can also apply to study a number of postgraduate qualifications in Australia and abroad.
