Foundations of Information Technology
Introduces students to the field of information technology, covering theoretical knowledge and practical application of basic aspects of IT including the internet, computer hardware, operating systems, software tools, networking, communication systems, database technology, and business information systems.

Practical Industry Projects - PIP (Part A)
Capstone unit in partnership with Practera; integrates classroom knowledge into practical experience solving real-world business challenges for industry clients, working in groups of up to six with a client mentor and lecturer. Prerequisite: completion of 160 course credit points.
Practical Industry Projects - PIP (Part B)
Continuation of the Capstone Practical Industry Projects unit. Prerequisite: completion of BBMG3008a.

The course is structured to be completed over three years of full-time study and comprises 24 units totalling 240 credit points (10 credit points per unit). Units are divided into three levels: Level 1000 includes 6 core units and 2 specialisation units; Level 2000 comprises 3 core units and 3 specialised units; and Level 3000 consists of 5 specialised units and 1 capstone unit. Students also select 4 electives from Levels 2000 and 3000 combined.

Yes. Students may exit the course with a Diploma of Business (Management) after 1 year of full-time study (at the end of Level 1000 units), or an Associate Degree of Business (Management) after 2 years of full-time study (at the end of Level 2000 units), before completing the full Bachelor of Business (Management) at the end of Level 3000.
Graduates may pursue careers as Corporate Managers, Management Consultants, Human Resources Advisers, Small Business Owners, Business Strategists, Office Managers, Team Leaders, or General Managers. Completion of this qualification also meets the academic requirement for admission to Postgraduate courses within Australia and overseas, subject to additional institution and course-specific requirements.
