Practical Industry Projects - PIP (Part B)
Continuation of the Capstone Practical Industry Projects unit. Prerequisite: completion of BBMG3008a.

The course is completed over three years of full-time study and comprises 24 units in total worth 240 credit points (10 credit points per unit). Units are divided into three levels: Level 1000 includes 6 core units and 2 specialisation units; Level 2000 comprises 3 core units and 3 specialised units; Level 3000 consists of 5 specialised units and 1 capstone unit. Students also choose 4 electives from Levels 2000 and 3000 combined. There are exit awards available: a Diploma of Business (Management) after 1 year full-time and an Associate Degree of Business (Management) after 2 years full-time.
The course has multiple intake dates throughout the year: February, March, May, June, August, September, October, and November. For the 2026 Semester 1 Block 4, classes start on 1 June 2026, with the last date to enrol also being 1 June 2026 and the census date on 8 June 2026.
The course is offered at two campuses: Sydney (Level 3 & 4, 545 Kent Street, NSW 2000) and Melbourne (Level 1, 20 Queen Street, VIC 3000). Both domestic and international students can enrol.
Graduates can pursue careers as Corporate Managers, Management Consultants, Human Resources Advisers, Small Business Owners, Business Strategists, Office Managers, Team Leaders, and General Managers. Additionally, completion of the Bachelor of Business (Management) meets the academic requirement for admission to Postgraduate courses within Australia and overseas, subject to additional institution and course-specific requirements.
The PIP is a two-part capstone unit (BBMG3008a and BBMG3008b) delivered in partnership with Practera. Students work in groups of up to six to solve real-world business challenges for actual industry clients, guided by both a client mentor and a lecturer. Upon completion, students receive a certification and digital badge for their CV and LinkedIn profile. To enrol in BBMG3008a, students must first complete 160 course credit points; BBMG3008b requires prior completion of BBMG3008a.
