The Bachelor of Business (Professional) includes a mandatory 12-month paid work placement as part of the degree. This Work Integrated Learning opportunity is guaranteed for all students and is supported by Swinburne's unique industry partnerships, allowing you to gain invaluable full-time work experience and earn credit towards your degree.
Students can choose from 10 majors: Accounting, Business Administration, Business Analytics and Analysis, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resource Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Management, Marketing, and Sports Management.
The Bachelor of Business (Professional) is accredited by or affiliated with several professional bodies, including AACSB, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, CFA Institute, CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants ANZ, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, PRME, and the Institute of Public Accountants.
For 2026, the yearly tuition fee for domestic Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) students is approximately $17,399 AUD, with a total course fee of approximately $43,430 AUD. International students have a total indicative course fee of approximately $65,246 AUD. A Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) of $373 AUD (capped for 2026) also applies. Fees are estimates and subject to change.
Successful completion of the Bachelor of Business (Professional) requires students to complete units of study to the value of 375 credit points. All units of study are valued at 12.5 credit points unless otherwise stated. The course is structured across four years and includes core units, major units, elective units, and work placement units.
