Common Questions
The Bachelor of Business Professional Practice includes 96 credit points (equivalent to 2 semesters or one year of full-time study) of professional experience. You can begin completing this once your foundation and core subjects are successfully completed, as early as Year 2 and no later than the end of Year 4. Your professional experience begins with the Impact Academy, an award-winning industry project involving direct industry contact, and you can then choose from a range of professional experience options including supported internships with industry partners, start-ups, and the not-for-profit sector. Internships can last up to 12 months.
The Bachelor of Business Professional Practice offers 14 majors and 36 minors. You can choose a single major (typically 8 subjects in your chosen area), a double major (focusing equally on 2 areas of specialisation, with no business option or elective subjects), or no major at all — opting instead for a combination of minors, business option subjects, and university electives. The course consists of 32 subjects in total regardless of your choice. When you graduate with a major, it will be listed on your official graduation certificate (testamur).

Instead, assessments may include presentations, assignments, and other forms of assessment, all designed to give you rich opportunities to demonstrate your understanding of topics and challenges. The course promotes an active learning style, with content made available online and interactive learning taking place in on-campus classes.
As a domestic student in a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP), the annual student contribution amount for a standard full-time study load in 2026 ranges from AU$4,738 to AU$17,399, depending on the band of the subjects you enrol in. Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
