The course is delivered at two campuses: Level 3 & 4, 545 Kent Street, Sydney, NSW 2000, and Level 1, 20 Queen Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000. AIH also offers a Hybrid-1 study model for added flexibility.
Domestic students (Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents, or holders of a permanent Australian humanitarian visa) should complete the Domestic Student Application Form. International students should select the appropriate International Application Form — either for applicants overseas, for current visa holders in Australia, or for direct student applications. A Genuine Student (GS) Assessment Form is required if applying for a 500 Student visa. Completed forms and supporting documents should be submitted to admissions@aih.edu.au.
Yes. AIH has an Advanced Standing Policy that allows credit to be granted for specific units based on prior learning, whether from formal studies, professional work, or life experience. Applications for Advanced Standing must normally be submitted no later than one week prior to the first census date after commencement of the course.
AIH provides a range of support services including the Academic Success Team (offering workshops, assessment help, peer mentors, and individualised support), a Wellbeing Officer for confidential counselling and mental health support (wellbeing@aih.edu.au), access to the EBSCO database for academic resources, and a library at the Sydney campus open Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Student Services Officers are the official point of contact for overseas students and can be reached at studentservices@aih.edu.au or +61 2 9020 8050.
