Common Questions
The Bachelor of Communication (Business) / Bachelor of Laws can be completed in just over three and a half years (11 semesters) at Bond University, thanks to its fast-track trimester timetable. This is less time than it can take to complete a single law degree at most other universities.
Students can develop specialty skills by studying a law specialisation, with options including corporate and commercial law, international and comparative law, legal practice, media and technology law, or Canadian law and practice.
Students can combine theoretical learning with hands-on practical activities by completing an internship in-house with an organisation or agency like Edelman, Ogilvy PR and Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, or undertaking legal work experience with a law firm with the help of Bond's Career Development Centre. Students can also gain practical experience on-campus through the Bond Law Clinic or in-class by working with real clients on marketing campaigns, social media strategies, advertising schedules and more.
Students have access to Bond's multi-million-dollar Legal Skills Centre, which houses electronic moot courts and one of the largest film/TV/digital media production facilities in south-east Queensland.
Yes, the Bachelor of Laws component provides an approved law degree for the purpose of admission as a legal practitioner. It serves as a pathway to admission to legal practice, in conjunction with the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP).

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
