Taking a full-time study load of 40 credit points per semester, you can complete your undergraduate degree in two years (six semesters), thanks to Bond's fast-track trimester timetable. Intakes are offered in January, May or September.
This interdisciplinary non-science undergraduate degree program brings together perspectives on climate change from communication, media, psychology, health, law, and business. The curriculum is structured around three foundational areas: Climate Change, Sustainability, and Sustainable Action, and requires completion of 240 credit points across Core Curriculum, Interdisciplinary Foundation, a Major, and Electives and Capstone.
The program includes an optional internship placement component, allowing you to apply your knowledge and skills in meaningful industry settings. This experiential learning opportunity provides valuable work experience and fosters connections with organizations, government agencies, and NGOs dedicated to climate action and sustainability.
The Sustainable Action Capstone is completed in your final semester and allows you to complete a capstone project and/or internship placement whereby you can apply your knowledge and skills to real-world sustainability challenges, working collaboratively with community partners and stakeholders. It may involve creating sustainable business plans, policy recommendations, or community engagement initiatives.
Yes, with a wide range of major options available, students can customise their studies to align with their interests and career goals. Students choose a six-subject specialty Major that represents professional areas of focus that support sustainable action as a response to mitigate climate change, from areas spanning Business, Commerce and Entrepreneurship, Construction, Property and Planning, Health, Biomedical and Sport Sciences, International Relations, Politics and Arts, and Project Management and Innovation.
