About This Course

The Bachelor of Clinical Science is a fast-tracked, hands-on course that equips you with the essential knowledge and skills in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and biochemistry, preparing you for a career in health and medicine. Through dynamic, body systems-focused units, scientific units, and professional training units, you will explore the science behind human health and disease while developing critical problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

You will engage with cutting-edge research and learn to innovate solutions, all while studying within MQ Health, Australia’s first fully integrated academic health sciences centre. The Bachelor of Clinical Science aims to ensure that upon graduating you have the following capabilities:

Capability 1 (Scientist and Scholar): Graduates will be clinical scientists and research-informed scholars equipped with the broad clinically relevant knowledge and skills regarding the biochemical, physiological, and anatomical workings of the human body.

Capability 2 (Practitioner): Graduates will be effective multimodal communicators and solution-orientated practitioners able to identify and develop solutions that address issues relevant to medical science.

Capability 3 (Citizen): Graduates will be inclusive and culturally respectful individuals able to adapt readily to new situations.
