The Bachelor of Clinical Science (Medicine)/Doctor of Medicine (MD) is a five-year full-time undergraduate entry degree.
Clinical learning begins from the first weeks of the program, as you work with and learn from real patients, supported by small-group collaborative learning at the bedside and on campus that continues throughout the program.
Four themes run throughout this program: patient care, health in the community, personal and professional development, and scientific basis of medicine.
The program is based at Campbelltown campus, which is brand new and purpose built specifically for students. You will also be based out of Clinical Schools, and will have access to state-of-the-art research facilities.
The program includes full-time clinical and community placements including in Aboriginal Medical Services, placements in speciality and subspecialty medicine, and an opportunity to apply skills and knowledge through an internship or an engaging work-integrated learning experience. Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
