While SCU considers your current residential address when allocating placements, local placements are not guaranteed. You should be prepared to travel to your allocated placement, which may be outside your immediate local area. You will require access to reliable transport to complete shifts that may occur during mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends. You are responsible for organising and covering any associated costs, including travel, accommodation, and related expenses. Before attending any placement, you must also meet mandatory compliance requirements such as immunisations, mask-fit testing, First Aid and CPR certification, and National Police Certificate checks.
The indicative annual tuition fee for international students studying at the Gold Coast campus is $26,000 (at $3,250 per unit), based on completing 8 units per year. Tuition fees are in Australian dollars and are subject to change, including annual increases over the duration of the course. In addition, students are required to pay OSHC for the duration of their visa in advance.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
