After your first year, you can specialise by choosing from majors including Finance, FinTech, Applied Economics, Economics (Politics and Public Policy), Environmental and Resource Economics, and Business Analytics. You can select two majors; or a major and two minors; or a major, one minor and option topics; or a major and option topics.
The guaranteed entry ATAR is 65.00. Alternative entry options include a STAT score of 150.0, a GPA of 4.5, or a TAFE/VET Certificate IV or above. A pathway is also available via the Business Diploma. For international students, an IELTS overall score of 6.0 (with Speaking and Writing both at 6.0) or a Pearson overall score of 50 is required. There are no prerequisites or assumed knowledge requirements.
The Bachelor of Commerce is a 3-year full-time degree (or part-time equivalent for domestic students). Intake dates are available in March and July each year. Note that part-time equivalent study options are not available for international students.
The 2026 annual indicative fees are $17,399 for Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) domestic students and $39,000 for Full Fee Paying (FFP) international students.
The Bachelor of Commerce is available in person at Bedford Park and the City Campus, as well as online. This gives students flexibility to choose the mode of study that best suits their needs, though international students should note that part-time equivalent study options are not available to them.
