Entry Requirements

General Requirements

Selection Rank (ATAR plus adjustment factors): Applicants with a recent Year 12 qualification (SACE, IB or equivalent) and a competitive selection rank may use this as a pathway into the degree.
Guaranteed Entry: Available for most undergraduate degrees based on ATAR (achieving the Guaranteed Entry score or higher) or Year 12 subject results (ATAR of 50 or higher plus best three grades from 20-credit subjects).
STAT (Skills for Tertiary Admissions Test): Applicants who have never completed Year 12 or higher education and are over 18 years old before 1 February in the year of commencement may use STAT results.
Higher Education GPA: Applicants who have completed at least six months full-time of a recognised higher education degree can use their GPA.
VET Studies (Certificate IV or higher): Completion of a VET qualification at Certificate IV level or higher from TAFE SA or other RTOs may meet minimum entry requirements.
Internal Transfer: Current Adelaide University students may apply to transfer using their GPA or eligible prior qualifications.
Preparatory Programs: Foundation Studies, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Pathway, and online UniStart program are available for students who need to build skills before entering the degree.
