The combined degree provides a pathway to legal practice, offering comprehensive grounding in business operations (including accounting, management, and analytics) and an understanding of business in wider society. You will study the Bachelor of Commerce concurrently with Bachelor of Laws junior core requirements, and after completing the Bachelor of Commerce, you will progress to the Bachelor of Laws, completing senior core and elective units in a specific sequence.
Yes. In your final year of the Bachelor of Laws component, you will have the option to complete advanced coursework and an honours thesis.
The closing date for Semester 1 entry is 31 January of the commencing year, and the closing date for Semester 2 entry is 15 July of the commencing year. Separate deadlines apply for scholarship applications.
Yes. International students commencing in Semester 2 will not be able to start the Law component until Semester 1 of the following year.
The elective units in the Bachelor of Laws component must include at least one jurisprudence elective, and all elective units are selected from the Sydney Law School Undergraduate Table in a specific sequence.
