The Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) is one year of full-time study, consisting of 200 credits (approximately eight units) per year, with 100 credits (approximately four units) in each semester. Part-time study is also available.
To be eligible, applicants need to have completed a Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent Australian Bachelor Degree) that is relevant to the selected stream, with a CWA of 70% or above. If applying for the Economics and Finance stream, an average of 75% in your respective Economics or Finance major is also required. English proficiency is required, with an IELTS overall band score of 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each component).
You will study a topic that interests you in-depth under the guidance of a supervisor, and present your findings in a dissertation. The course enhances analytical, research and critical thinking skills, and students are able to undertake high-quality research in an area of interest that can be aligned with real business problems within industry.

The Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) is available for intake in Semester 1 only (start of calendar year). Upcoming intakes are Semester 1 2026 and Semester 1 2027, both offered on campus at Curtin Perth.
