The Bachelor of Commerce/Fine Arts is a 4-year double degree program that can be completed full-time or part-time equivalent. It consists of 32 courses totalling 192 Units of Credit (UOC), with 16 courses for Commerce and 16 courses for Fine Arts. The program includes an Integrated First Year for Commerce, one Commerce major, one Fine Arts specialisation, professional development courses, mandatory Work Integrated Learning, a Final Year Synthesis, and the MyBCom digital portfolio.
You can choose from 15 Commerce majors — including Accounting, AI in Business and Society, Behavioural Economics, Business Analytics, Finance, FinTech, Marketing, and more — and one of seven Fine Arts specialisations: Animation & Moving Image, Art Theory, Music, Music Creative Practice, Music Pedagogy, Music Sonic Arts, or Visual Arts.
Yes, work experience is built into the BCom component of the degree. Students must complete at least one course credit with a work integrated learning focus, such as an internship or business practicum. Students can undertake internships in Australia or internationally as part of their degree. The Fine Arts component also includes professional development experiences such as exhibitions, screenings, studio internships, performances, and ensembles.
For 2026, the Lowest Selection Rank (ATAR plus adjustment factors) is 97.0, the Lowest ATAR before adjustment factors is 77.0, the A Levels score is 17.0, and the IB Diploma score is 41.0. Assumed knowledge in Mathematics Advanced is expected. Additionally, students wishing to pursue the Music specialisation must audition. A range of adjustment factor schemes are available, including HSC Plus (up to 5 points), Elite Athletes, Performers and Leaders (up to 5 points), and the Educational Access Scheme (1–10 points).
Students have access to state-of-the-art creative production facilities including the Design Futures Lab, The Making Centre, fully equipped creative workshops, and digital studios across the Kensington and Paddington campuses. Students also receive an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription throughout their studies, access to galleries, publications and events to showcase works, and professional development opportunities through Career Accelerator for Business School students.
