The Bachelor of Commerce/Aviation (Management) is a four-year, full-time double degree. Students must complete 192 units of credit (UOC) to graduate, which includes core courses, prescribed electives, integrated first year courses, work integrated learning, a commerce major, and a final year synthesis.
Learning exercises range from operating a start-up airline in a management simulation to exploring the cognitive abilities of humans in the fast-developing environment of aviation. Throughout your degree, you'll also be encouraged to undertake industry-based scholarships and internships. Work experience is built into the BCom, meaning you can undertake internships in Australia or internationally as part of your degree, or choose other work integrated learning experiences such as industry consultancy projects, online practicums, or collaborating on real social entrepreneurship projects. Many of these experiences are offered through UNSW Business School's industry partners, including Accenture, Suncorp, Grant Thornton, Flight Centre Travel Group, Tata Group, Synpulse, and more.
Students must complete 48 UOC within one of the following commerce disciplines: Accounting, AI in Business and Society, Behavioural Economics, Business Analytics, Business Economics, Business Sustainability and Social Impact, Cybersecurity Management, Finance, FinTech, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, Innovation, Strategy and Entrepreneurship, International Business, Marketing, Marketing Analytics, or Taxation.
The 2026 Lowest Selection Rank (ATAR plus adjustment factors) is 97.0. The 2026 Lowest ATAR before adjustment factors was 77.0. The assumed knowledge required is Mathematics Advanced. Adjustment factors are available through schemes such as HSC Plus (up to 5 points), Elite Athletes, Performers and Leaders (up to 5 points), and the Educational Access Scheme (1–10 points). The 2026 IB Diploma entry score is 41.0 and the A Levels score is 17.0.
