In the Commerce component, you can choose from 15 specialisations including Accounting, AI in Business and Society, Behavioural Economics, Business Analytics, Business Economics, Business Sustainability and Social Impact, Cybersecurity Management, Finance, FinTech, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, Innovation Strategy and Entrepreneurship, International Business, Marketing, Marketing Analytics, and Taxation. In the Media component, you can choose one of five specialisations: Communication and Journalism, Screen Production, Media Studies, Cinema Studies, or Public Relations and Advertising.
MyBCom portfolio is an award-winning interactive platform and assessment tool for Bachelor of Commerce students. You'll use MyBCom to guide your commerce studies, develop a tailored career plan, and collate a portfolio of professional experiences to showcase to future employers. You start building this digital portfolio from your first year of study through to graduation.
Yes, work experience is built into both degrees. The BCom includes mandatory Work Integrated Learning, requiring at least one course credit with a work integrated learning focus such as an internship or business practicum — which can be undertaken in Australia or internationally. The Bachelor of Media also integrates practical skills and professional experiences from the outset, including internships and work with industry-standard studio spaces and technologies, including an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription while studying.
For domestic students in a Commonwealth Supported Place, the 2026 indicative first year full fee is $17,500, with an indicative full fee to complete the degree of $70,000. For international students, the 2026 indicative first year full fee is $54,000, with an indicative full fee to complete the degree of $225,500. These fees are for tuition only and are subject to annual review.
