About This Course

Mathematics, statistics and computing skills are essential to advanced financial and commercial modelling, making Advanced Mathematics a natural complement to Commerce. The Bachelor of Science (Advanced Mathematics) (Honours) prepares you for the increasing range of quantitative careers in areas such as finance and technology, while UNSW's Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) is an innovative business degree, designed alongside industry to ensure you are one of Australia's most employable graduates. This five-year degree allows you to build a foundational understanding of business essentials. Specialise in one of 15 Commerce majors such as Finance, Business Analytics or Economics, gain industry experience, and build a professional portfolio. Alongside this, you'll undertake advanced coursework with an honours level research project in your chosen Mathematics specialisation.
