You can specialise in one of 15 Commerce majors, including Accounting, AI in Business and Society, Behavioural Economics, Business Analytics, Business Economics, Business Sustainability and Social Impact, Cybersecurity Management, Finance, FinTech, Human Resource Management, Information Systems, Innovation Strategy and Entrepreneurship, International Business, Marketing, Marketing Analytics, and Taxation.
The honours specialisations available are Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, and Statistics. The Advanced Mathematics majors available are Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, and Advanced Statistics.
Both programs incorporate practical and professional experience. In Commerce, you must complete at least one course credit with a work integrated learning focus such as an internship or business practicum, and complete COMM3999 myBCom Graduate Portfolio. The Advanced Mathematics component includes the SCIF3199 Science Work Placement for an internship opportunity and SCIF2041 Research Internship to complete a short theoretical or experimental research project supervised by a member of academic staff.
For domestic students in a Commonwealth Supported Place, the 2026 indicative first year full fee is $12,500 and the indicative full fee to complete the degree is $54,500. For international students, the 2026 indicative first year fee is $59,500 and the indicative full fee to complete the degree is $329,000.
Depending on your course selection, you may meet the education requirements of various professional bodies including the Australian Computer Society (Information Systems), Australian Human Resources Institute (Human Resource Management), CPA Australia (Accounting), Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (Accounting), ACCA (Accounting), and the Institute of Public Accountants (Accounting).
