This major prepares you to craft persuasive, ethical communication across industries, from media relations and public campaigns to health, crisis and entertainment communication. You'll gain practical experience developing strategy, managing media and responding to real scenarios including political campaigns and emergency events. Whether you're promoting a brand, managing reputation or navigating public discourse, you'll be equipped with the skills to lead communication in an evolving media landscape. You can also elect to study a second major, or a minor. Minor: Environmental and climate change communication. If studying at Brisbane South campus, optional second majors in business fields will be taught at the Brisbane City campus. Attendance information The Bachelor of Communication is offered full-time on campus. If you are an International student on a student visa, you must ensure that you enrol in a way that will allow you to complete your enrolment within the expected program duration as stated on your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE). The recommended study load for international student in each compulsory trimester is 40CP.
