Facilities include a TV studio, UCFM student radio station, recording booths, editing suites with industry-standard software, and a Media Resource Centre with professional production gear for loan.

Yes, thanks to UC's partnership with TAFE Queensland, students can study a range of UC degrees in the Creative Industries at convenient locations in Queensland such as South Bank or Mount Gravatt.

The course covers a broad range of areas including journalism, marketing communication, media production, public relations, corporate communication, sports media and social media. There is also a range of elective options so you can tailor your studies to match your interests.

UC offers Portfolio Entry for students with personal or school-based creative projects — you can bypass standard university admissions by submitting five pieces of your most accomplished work in the arts. UC also recognises work experience, life skills and qualifications outside of uni, which may make you eligible for entry or credit towards your qualification.

UCFM is Canberra's #1 student radio station, run by students. It offers opportunities to build tech, media and journalism skills through live broadcasts, radio programming, podcasts and more, providing real hands-on industry experience while studying.
