Law students are required to complete a Legal Internship subject (LLB3397), which involves a practical placement completed over 4 weeks, totalling 140 hours at 35 hours per week. A double degree at UOW provides a world-class qualification in less time and at less cost than studying the two degrees separately, and having a double degree will give you a competitive advantage in a crowded job market. This combined degree takes 5 years full-time, or part-time equivalent.
All UOW courses are taught in English and require varying levels of proficiency. If English is not your first language, you must meet the University's English Language Requirements, which differ by course. Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
