Students can choose from the following majors in the Bachelor of Communication: Advertising (grounding in general principles of communication and practical skills including strategy, creative, digital and social media); Journalism (combining news media understanding with practical experience in broadcast, print and online journalism); Media Arts Production (production skills with practical hands-on experience and theoretical foundation in moving, visual media — available on Parramatta campus only from 2017); and Public Affairs/Public Relations (covering skills and knowledge in public relations including event management, issues and crisis management, campaign development, and an internship placement).
Yes. Graduates from the Bachelor of Laws are eligible to apply to the Legal Profession Admission Board for admission to legal practice in NSW after undertaking prescribed practical legal training. The Bachelor of Laws (Honours) program satisfies the academic degree requirements for admission to practice as an Australian lawyer.
The Bachelor of Communication / Bachelor of Laws (Honours) is offered at Parramatta South and Campbelltown campuses of Western Sydney University.
Through the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) component, students develop skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, research, communication, collaboration, self-management, and ethical and professional awareness and judgement. Students also have the opportunity to develop skills in legal advocacy, negotiation, and legal technology, and can extend their professional and learning experiences through work integrated learning, clinical placement and international exchange engagements.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
