In this degree, you'll gain hands-on experience in programming, algorithms, databases, networks, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (AI). You'll develop the skills to design, analyse and create digital solutions for complex problems across industry and society.
Developed in partnership with industry leaders including Cisco, Optus and ANZ, this course combines contemporary theory with practical learning. Throughout the course, you'll work on practical, project-based learning tasks that reflect industry practice. In your final year, you'll complete a capstone project where you design and deliver a solution to a real-world problem, integrating your knowledge across software, AI and cybersecurity.
You can tailor your studies by choosing majors in artificial intelligence, data science or software engineering. Open electives also give you flexibility to broaden your skills across complementary disciplines.
By studying the Bachelor of Computer Science, you will learn how to:
