For the 2026 pilot using proficiency tests, undergraduate and honours degrees require IELTS (Academic) 6.5 (no band less than 6.0), TOEFL iBT overall 79, PTE (Academic) 58, or C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency 176 with no less than 169 in any component.
Yes. For entry into a bachelor degree such as the Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours), you can meet the English language requirement by achieving an overall STAT score of at least 156 or a verbal reasoning sub-score of 155.
Yes. RMIT is running a 2026 pilot that allows domestic applicants to meet minimum English language requirements through approved English language proficiency tests, including IELTS (Academic), TOEFL iBT, PTE (Academic), C1 Advanced, or C2 Proficiency. Note that IELTS (General) is not accepted, and RMIT does not accept scores from 'at-home' or 'online' testing.
