Each major offers a specialised set of units tailored to that field, for example, the Artificial Intelligence major covers machine learning, cloud computing, intelligent systems and AI engineering techniques.
Successful completion of the Bachelor of Computer Science / Bachelor of Applied Innovation requires students to complete units of study to the value of 400 credit points. All units of study are valued at 12.5 credit points unless otherwise stated.
Yes, there is an optional professional work placement worth 100 credit points. This involves completing Work Experience in Industry A (WEI20001) and Integrated Professional Placement A - ICT (ICT20013), followed by Work Experience in Industry B (WEI20002) and Integrated Professional Placement B - ICT (ICT20014). Note that students who participate in a six- or 12-month professional placement will be subject to an increase in total course fees.
For domestic students in a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP), the yearly fee is approximately $13,467 AUD, with a total course fee of approximately $53,868 AUD. For international students, the indicative total fee is $42,600 AUD. A Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) of $373 AUD also applies. Fees are estimates only and subject to change.
