It also meets the educational requirements of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) for attainment of an Open Builders License.
The program takes 2 years (6 semesters) to complete. Bond University uses an accelerated three-semester-per-year system, which allows students to complete what is effectively a four-year degree in two years.
The curriculum addresses a range of topics including construction technology, construction techniques, plant and equipment, site management, contract administration, building measurement, planning processes, and risks. In Year 1, students study introductory construction subjects including understanding buildings, measurement, and building services. In Year 2, students complete subjects such as Real Estate Property Rights, Construction Tendering and Finance, and Project Delivery Systems, culminating in an industry-based capstone project.
The program has multiple intake dates: May 2026, September 2026, January 2027, and May 2027, and is delivered on-campus at the Gold Coast Campus.
Yes, the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) offers the Donald Napier Scholarship, which is available to a limited number of Year 12 students who qualify for entry into a quantity surveying or other appropriate course at an AIQS accredited university in Australia, including Bond's Bachelor of Construction Management and Quantity Surveying.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
