Bachelor of Construction Technology

The Bachelor of Construction Technology is a three-year program, whereas the Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) is a four-year program. The Construction Technology degree is a shortened version of the full Construction Management program, allowing students to obtain a Bachelor degree in three years and enter the industry more quickly.

The program has four concentrated areas: construction technology, construction economics, construction law, and construction project management. Students also have the option to obtain a Minor in construction economics if desired.

There is no compulsory work experience requirement for the Bachelor of Construction Technology. However, students are still encouraged to gain work experience through cadetships in the building industry in areas including project home building, building surveying, and residential development.

The indicative annual tuition fee for international students is AUD $40,916. This is an estimate based on current fee structures for a normal full-time study load and is subject to change. Domestic students may be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP), which subsidises part of the fees.

The Bachelor of Construction Technology is offered at the LSR (Liverpool, Sydney Region) and Penrith campuses of Western Sydney University. As a multi-campus institution, Western Sydney University reserves the right to alter the location of its programs between campuses and other locations as necessary.
