Yes, the course includes 200 hours experience in a professional placement, with 40 hours of face-to-face client counselling. This placement is linked with two clinical supervision units over two consecutive trimesters. The course also includes 90 hours of volunteering which is completed before placement in the final year, and 50 hours of a service learning project in a community group as part of a core unit.

The course comprises 24 units at $2,833 per unit, with an indicative annual course fee of $22,664 per 1.0 EFTSL. A Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) is also payable in addition to these fees.
No. The Bachelor of Counselling is not available to international students at the Adelaide, Brisbane, Perth, and Online campuses. International students can study the course at the Melbourne and Sydney campuses.
