Assumed Knowledge: Any two units of English
Recommended Studies: English Advanced and any two units of Mathematics; for the Bachelor of Creative Arts, recommended studies depend on your chosen major
Minimum Selection Rank: 70 (ATAR or IB Combined Rank plus any eligible adjustments) for guaranteed entry or consideration if limited places
Recent Secondary Education: Admission based on ATAR or IBAS; other qualifications considered include GCE A-Levels, New Zealand NCEA Level 3, and overseas senior secondary qualifications comparable to Australian qualifications
Higher Education Study: Must have completed at least half a year of full-time study (or part-time equivalent) at Bachelor's degree level or higher; grades converted to a selection rank
Work and Life Experience: Admission primarily based on academic qualifications; work or life experience generally not considered
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Applicants: Alternative pathway available via UOW's Woolyungah Indigenous Centre's Indigenous Admissions Program (IAP) for Indigenous Australians aged 17 and over
Domestic Applicants with Overseas Qualifications: Must provide academic records; course must be at least one-sixth complete; non-English documents must include an official English translation
English Language Proficiency: Must meet UOW's English Language Requirements if English is not your first language; accepted tests include IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, Cambridge, and OET (for specific health-related courses)

What is the minimum ATAR required to enter the Bachelor of Creative Arts – Bachelor of Business?

The minimum Selection Rank for guaranteed entry (or for consideration if this course has limited places) is 70. Your Selection Rank is your ATAR or IB Combined Rank plus any adjustments you are eligible to receive, such as those based on subjects studied, school location, or equity and access schemes.

How long does it take to complete this double degree, and is part-time study available?

When can I start this course and what are the key application deadlines?

The course is available to start in Autumn 2026 (session start 2 March 2026) and Spring 2026 (session start 27 July 2026). For Autumn 2026, the UAC Early Bird application deadline is 30 September 2025, the international deadline is 9 December 2025, and the UAC final round deadline is 29 January 2026. For Spring 2026, the international deadline is 5 May 2026 and the domestic (direct) deadline is 31 May 2026.

Are there Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) available for this course?

Yes, Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) are available for eligible domestic students. Australian government funding will contribute towards your tuition fees, and the remaining proportion, known as a student contribution, will depend on when you begin study (enrolment year) and your study area.
