Common Questions
In general, students who have completed the requirements of a Bachelor of Creative Arts degree (or an approved equivalent degree) and achieved at least a distinction average may apply to undertake the Bachelor of Creative Arts Honours degree in their major study area.
The available majors in the Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours) are Creative Writing, Music, Visual Arts, and Visual Arts and Design.
For your creative project, you will produce a major body of work in your chosen discipline; while your critical work will take the form of an accompanying exegesis or standalone dissertation on a topic of your choosing.
The Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours) takes 1 year full-time, or a part-time equivalent, and is offered on campus at Wollongong with intakes starting in Autumn session (March).
Potential employers appreciate the honours degree because it demonstrates that students can achieve complex goals, meet deadlines, investigate independently, use resources effectively, and write clearly.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
