Standard entry to this program is by audition only. Additional admission requirements include an Audition and Portfolio. Admission is also based on an entrance rank, which can be achieved through Year 12 ATAR, a diploma pathway, other Australian qualifications, work experience, or an overseas qualification.
Graduates of the Bachelor of Creative Industries (Acting and Performance) can pursue careers as a Director, Playwright, Actor/Actress, Producer, Voice-over artist, Arts facilitator, or Performer. The program is tailored for those who want to engage in a professional career as a stage or film actor, performing artist, or performance maker.
Yes, the course includes Work Integrated Learning units (Professional Practice 1 and Professional Practice 2).
