The Guaranteed Entry ATAR for this course is 60.0. You'll be guaranteed a place if you meet or exceed this score, provided you also meet the course prerequisites. If your ATAR is below the guaranteed entry score, you can still be offered a place as your ATAR may be adjusted based on subject adjustments, equity schemes or other factors.
Yes, subject adjustments apply: a study score of 25 in any Humanities, Legal Studies or Psychology equals 2 aggregate points per study, and a study score of 30 in any Humanities, Legal Studies or Psychology equals 3 aggregate points per study, with an overall maximum of 10 points. Note that subject adjustment points are applied to the aggregate, not the ATAR.
International students must demonstrate satisfactory completion of one of the following: an IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0, or Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with an overall score of 65% and all skills at 65% or above, or equivalent measures available at the English language requirements page.

Credit transfer is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course, with applicants assessed on a case-by-case basis. Additionally, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) allows students to gain credit towards their course in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or formal training, also assessed on a case-by-case basis.
The Bachelor of Criminal Justice and Criminology/Bachelor of Applied Innovation takes 4 years full-time, or equivalent part-time, and is offered at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus with intakes in both Semester 1 and Semester 2.
