The guaranteed entry ATAR for this course is 70.0. You'll be guaranteed a place if you meet or exceed this score, provided you also meet the course prerequisites. The lowest ATAR to receive an offer in 2025 after adjustment factors was 64.9.
Yes. A study score of 25 in any Humanities, Legal Studies, any Mathematics or any Science equals 2 aggregate points per study, and a study score of 30 in the same subjects equals 3 aggregate points per study, with an overall maximum of 10 points. Subject adjustment points are applied to the aggregate, not the ATAR.
Yes. Applicants without a formal qualification but with significant and relevant work experience will be considered if they can demonstrate that they can undertake the course with a reasonable prospect of success. Applicants may also be considered upon completion of the STAT test, which will be assessed at the time of application.
International students must demonstrate satisfactory completion of one of the following: an IELTS overall band of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0, or Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with an overall score of 65% and all skills at 65% or above, or equivalent measures. The Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic) can also be taken at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus.
The Bachelor of Criminal Justice and Criminology/Bachelor of Cyber Security takes 4 years full-time or equivalent part-time. It is offered at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus, with intakes available in both Semester 1 and Semester 2.
