UTS offers a practice-based learning approach developed in partnership with industry leaders, allowing students to gain hands-on experience and apply their learning in real-world contexts. Studying in the heart of Sydney's Tech Central precinct also provides access to over 3,000 creative and tech industries, start-ups, and major corporations.
Domestic undergraduate students can apply through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) or directly to UTS via the My Student Portal, depending on their circumstances. International students follow a separate application process outlined on the UTS international students page.
According to the 2024 Graduate Outcomes Survey – Longitudinal, 93.3% of UTS graduates are employed three years post-graduation, reflecting strong career readiness and high employer demand for UTS graduates.
Domestic students may be able to defer their offer depending on the course's specific requirements. International students should refer to the UTS international deferral process. Note that scholarship offers cannot be deferred, and students wishing to defer a scholarship would need to reapply in a future round.
