Yes. The Bachelor of Laws is accredited by the Legal Profession Admission Board. By completing your law degree at UOW, you are completing an academic qualification that is recognised for admission as a lawyer in Australia, subject to completing state-approved Practical Legal Training (PLT). The minimum score for guaranteed entry is a Selection Rank of 90. Your Selection Rank is your ATAR or IB Combined Rank plus any adjustments you are eligible to receive. The equivalent International Baccalaureate Admissions Score (IBAS) is 35.25.
Yes. This course includes a total of 140 hours of compulsory work-based placements, completed over 4 weeks at 35 hours per week.

UOW's Woolyungah Indigenous Centre's Indigenous Admissions Program (IAP) offers an alternative pathway for Indigenous Australians aged 17 and over who are seeking entry into an undergraduate course at UOW. Upon completing the IAP, applicants will be considered for admission based on an interview and assessment of both academic and non-academic qualities.
