Yes. Your fourth year of study is centred around a yearlong industry internship with oversight from your industry and academic supervisors. Through this internship, you will be equipped with professional experience relevant to your study and career goals, as well as essential and highly transferrable skills in teamwork, communication, project management and execution, customer-focused solution development, and organisational culture.
In addition to your embedded major in cyber security, you have the opportunity to undertake a minor. The ATAR entry score for domestic students is 82.25. You must have successfully completed the VCE (or equivalent), with a study score of at least 25 in English (other than EAL) or at least 27 in EAL, and a study score of at least 20 in one of Maths: General Mathematics, Maths: Mathematical Methods, or Maths: Specialist Mathematics. You may also be eligible for adjustment factors of up to 28 aggregate points.
Graduates can pursue roles including Cyber Security Advice and Assessment, Cyber Threat Analyst, Incident Responder, Intrusion Analyst, Malware Analyst, Operations Coordinator, Penetration Tester, Vulnerability Assessor, and Vulnerability Researcher.
