Common Questions
The Bachelor of Design is completed in just 2 years (accelerated), delivered over six trimesters of 10-12 weeks in duration, allowing students to launch their career in the design industry 1 year earlier than most university graduates.
Students can choose from three specialisations: Fashion Design, Interior Design, or Creative Direction & Styling. Each specialisation has its own focused curriculum and skill development areas.
No ATAR is required. The only academic requirement is that you complete Year 12 or equivalent as a minimum. Acceptance is based on a combination of academic achievement and creative potential through an interview and portfolio process. If you don't have a creative portfolio, Whitehouse runs specific workshops to help you prepare, with at least one available per month.
Yes, the Bachelor of Design is FEE-HELP approved, meaning eligible domestic students can access government loan assistance to cover their tuition fees.
Whitehouse proudly delivers an exceptional 1,728 hours of face-to-face teaching and learning over two years, which the institution states is unmatched by any other degree in Australia.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
