The Bachelor of Design Architecture is an undergraduate coursework degree that equips students with critical design, communication, problem solving and creative skills, with each semester revolving around a studio that explores aspects of the design process relating directly to the practice of the architectural profession.
Students can complete elective units in arts, architecture, architectural science, design or planning, in addition to the core units of study.
Methods of study include studio work, lectures, seminars, field trips and workshops, supplemented by core units in architectural history and theory, communications, technologies and art workshops.
Yes, domestic applicants are invited to submit a portfolio of work in support of their application, and the portfolio will be considered as part of the application.
The closing date for Semester 1 applications is 31 January of the commencing year. Note that this course has limited places available and not all applicants who meet the deadline and requirements may be successful.
