Yes, UTS offers an Elite Athletes and Performers Entry Scheme that recognises the impact elite sport and performance can have on students. Eligible applicants will receive 5 adjustments to their selection rank, which will be used to determine entry into UTS courses. Please note that UTS does not participate in the Elite Athlete and Performer Scheme assessed by UAC.
To apply, you will need: your UAC application number and details about your schooling and performance commitments; a completed Training/Rehearsal Schedule and Personal Statement template; a completed Supporting Statement from your sporting/performance coach or manager (or equivalent on official letterhead); a completed Supporting Statement from the responsible person at your education institution (or equivalent on official letterhead); and any other applicable supporting documents. Elite performers must also submit a portfolio of work or performance resume.
Applications for the 2027 intake open on 27 July and close on 30 November 2026.
