Yes, practical experience is available through placement topics integrated into the program. In Year 2, students undertake Practicum 1, and in Year 3, students undertake Practicum 2, allowing them to apply their learning in real-world settings.
The course is available in person at Bedford Park and City campuses, as well as online plus placement/intensive mode. Part-time equivalent study options are available for domestic students; however, part-time equivalent study options are not available for international students.
For 2026, the annual indicative fees are $15,433 for Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) students and $46,700 for Full Fee Paying (FFP) international students.
Yes. Graduates can complete an additional year to become accredited Developmental Educators by transitioning into the Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education. Additionally, students can boost their knowledge with an Honours in Health Sciences — the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) is a one-year full-time (or two-years part time) program designed to extend research skills, critical analysis, and project management.
