Yes, the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education is approved by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA), and graduates can find rewarding employment as childcare educators and kindergarten teachers for three and four-year-olds.
The course includes 85 days of professional placement in total, embedded across the three years of study. Placements occur in childcare and kindergarten settings and include 15 days in birth-to-2 years childcare, 15 days in 3–5 years childcare, 10 days preferential research days, 10 days kindergarten transition, and 20 days ready-to-teach kindergarten.
Classes run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Yes, if you have a childhood education diploma such as the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care CHC50125, you may get credits towards this degree.
