Within the Economics program, you can choose an embedded major from the following options: Econometrics, Economics, Environmental, Agricultural and Resource Economics, or Financial Economics.
Yes, if you meet the entry and progression criteria, you can elect to complete the Advanced Economics program, which serves as a pathway to Honours in Economics.
You will complete a major in the social sciences or humanities and a minor from a broad range of subject areas — including business, STEM, social sciences, and humanities — as part of the Arts component of the degree.
The closing date for Semester 1 entry is 31 January of the commencing year, and for Semester 2 entry it is 15 July of the commencing year. Note that separate deadlines apply for scholarship applications.
You can submit an application through the University of Sydney's online application portal. Scholarship applications have separate deadlines, so be sure to check the scholarship closing dates as well.
