This degree includes a mandatory work placement as a professional accreditation requirement. You must complete 96 days of placement to be eligible for employment in a range of early childhood and primary school settings in Australia.
The Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary) is accredited by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority and the Victorian Institute of Teaching as an initial teacher education program.
Students can choose from specialisations in English, Mathematics and Science as part of their studies in the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary).
You will develop skills in emerging technologies, leadership, problem-solving, innovation, intercultural competence, and contextual and theoretical knowledge.
International students in Australia who hold student visas are required to study full-time and on campus. Courses that are taught entirely online are only available to international students studying outside Australia or those in Australia who are not on a student visa.
