Yes, the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Teaching) is accredited by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) and is recognised by the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) as a VIT registerable Early Childhood Teacher qualification. This globally recognised accreditation supports your ability to work as a registered early childhood teacher in Victoria and more broadly.
For 2026, the yearly Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) tuition fee is approximately $4,738 AUD, with a total course fee of approximately $18,952 AUD. For international students, the indicative total fee is $34,200 AUD. Additionally, students undertaking accreditation placements are subject to fees ranging from approximately $350 to $600 to cover items such as a uniform, police check, and Working with Children Check. A Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) of $373 also applies.
Two pathway options are available: the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (1 year full-time, with up to 8 units of maximum credit into the degree) and the Diploma of Teacher Education Preparation (1 year full-time, with up to 4 units of maximum credit). These pathways allow students to progress from one qualification into the Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Teaching) with advanced standing.
This degree prepares you to teach children from birth to five years old. You will develop the skills and knowledge to work in a variety of early childhood settings, including kindergartens, preschools and early learning centres, supporting children's social, emotional, intellectual and physical development.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
