These placements provide hands-on experience and help students build industry connections throughout their degree.
On successful completion of the Bachelor of Education (Primary), you will be eligible to apply for registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia. Graduates looking for employment in other parts of Australia and overseas may be required to meet additional conditions.
Students can choose a Curriculum Specialisation Minor from PE, Visual Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, Languages, Science, or Inclusive Education. However, the PE, Visual Arts, HaSS, Languages, Science and Inclusive Education specialisation minors are not available to be studied from Flinders' City Campus. Additionally, not all core topics are delivered at the City Campus, and some classes are required to be completed at Bedford Park Campus.
The STEM Teaching Minor is built into the Bachelor of Education (Primary) to help students develop the skills and confidence to implement STEM in primary classrooms. It enables graduates to design engaging, evidence-based lessons and inspire the next generation of curious minds. STEM minor topics are spread across Years 1, 2, and 4 of the program.
Yes, 35 Enabling Educator Excellence (E3) Scholarships, each valued at $5,000, will be available for students commencing in 2026. Prospective students are encouraged to find out more about eligibility and how to apply.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
