Yes, the Bachelor of Engineering (Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics) (Honours) / Bachelor of Business is fully accredited by Engineers Australia, which is a signatory to the Washington Accord. This means the program is internationally recognised and graduates are eligible to practise as professional engineers in many countries around the world, as well as being eligible for graduate and/or professional membership of Engineers Australia.
You can choose from 13 business majors and over 30 business minors within the Bachelor of Business component. Business areas include options such as international business, economics, finance, global business, business analytics, and logistics and supply chain, allowing you to tailor the business side of your degree to your interests.
In Year 4, you have the opportunity to complete a minor within the engineering discipline to deepen your understanding of mechatronics and robotics. Options include: Aircraft Technologies, Spacecraft Technologies, Aviation Industry, Computational Engineering and Simulation, and Humanitarian Innovation.
Before graduating, you are strongly encouraged to complete at least 10 weeks of engineering industry experience under the supervision of a practising professional engineer. You may also choose to undertake a six or twelve month industry placement locally or internationally, which can provide academic credit and paid industrial experience. Additionally, there are opportunities to tackle research projects in partnership with industry, including the Engineers Without Borders Challenge Scholarship.
For international students, the annual tuition fee for this course is AU$51,744 for 2026. In addition, students are charged a Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) with a maximum of AU$373 for 2026, plus potential additional expenses for field trips, textbooks and equipment.
