Third year includes electrical circuits and machines, mechanics and structures, mechanics of machines, sensors and actuators, engineering materials, control systems, thermodynamics and energy systems. Fourth year includes engineering project management, applied thermo-fluid dynamics, solid mechanics, and a 20-week industry placement. Fifth year includes a major mechanical and electrical and electronic engineering honours thesis, a capstone topic, further professional engineering studies, and a selection of electives.
