Yes, the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and its specialisations are professionally accredited by Engineers Australia. As accreditation is outcomes-based, if an engineering course or program hasn't yet produced a sufficient number of graduates, it may be granted provisional accreditation. For the accreditation status of individual specialisations, you should refer to the handbook page for the relevant major or the Engineers Australia website.
This course includes a total of 420 hours of compulsory work-based placements, completed over 12 weeks at 35 hours per week. This industry experience provides valuable practical training and can be completed either in Australia or overseas.
A double degree at UOW provides a world-class qualification in less time and at less cost than studying the two degrees separately. The combined Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - Bachelor of Business takes 5.5 years full-time, rather than the time it would take to complete both degrees independently. Having a double degree will also give you a competitive advantage in a crowded job market.
